Our CFMC Investors group will be meeting Monday May 18 at 4:00 at Ogden Tap Room. One of the requests for discussion that has come up often is: where do investors in our group get new ideas for stocks to evaluate? We’ll spend time discussing that. I have several services I use, and I know that some of you have either services or newsletters that you follow. Please be prepared to spend a few minutes talking about this topic and whether you’d recommend the service to others.
We’re almost five months into our investors’ competition, and so it’s time to dig a bit deeper into the results and see what’s working and what isn’t, and whether the holdings still make sense. This applies to personal holdings as well. For instance, AI infrastructure companies (chips primarily) have come screaming back, with companies like SanDisk & AMD soaring. And a number of software companies are beginning to come back – maybe AI isn’t going to eat the world after all.
