Janet Kane, is the CEO of Cape Fear REALTORS®, one of the largest associations in the region with just over 3,600 members. With 35 plus years in REALTOR® association management, she has also served as CEO for two mega local associations in AZ and TX, as well as COO for the Washington REALTORS®, in Washington State. Janet has also worked in the areas of human resources, member services, professional standards, governance, global outreach, diversity, commercial, and RPAC fundraising.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Oregon State University, a Certificate in Nonprofit Association Management from Duke University, the Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University, and the CAE (Certified Association Executive) designation from the American Society of Association Executives. Additionally, Janet earned the RCE (REALTOR® Certified Executive), CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), and C2EX (Commitment to Excellence) designations from the National Association of REALTORS®.
She will be accompanied by Michelle Roberts, a full-time, experienced professional realtor in the local area, who will be prepared to respond to questions of a practical nature with regard to actual realtor duties, responsibilities, and relationships.
Registration for the luncheon will be held at the Bluewater Grill in Wrightsville Beach, starting at 11:30 AM. Attendees will have the option of ordering and paying for beer or cocktails prior to the start of the speaker’s presentation, which will begin at Noon, and lunch will be served at 12:30 PM. Spouses and other guests are welcome to attend. The cost of the luncheon will be $30 per person, payable only in cash, and exact change would be appreciated. Menu Selections will be provided at a later date.
